Job Description, Detailed

Your Role:
Within the Department of a shipping line, you will be responsible for ensuring and optimizing the loading capacity of vessels in a specific area. Under the supervision of the Line Management, you will apply the trade and pricing policy in your designated area and handle quote requests from agents and clients.

What You Are Going To Do:
• First and foremost, you will ensure that the Line pricing policy is applied by agents to optimize budget results and the loading capacity of vessels.
• As an expert in your area, you will be responsible for marketing follow-up. This includes drawing up market research, statistics, and regularly communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Line Management. Additionally, you will conduct competitive intelligence and provide recommendations.
• You will also participate in defining boarding priorities.
• Finally, you will assist in drawing up the sales budget under the supervision of the Trade Manager and Line Manager, and analyze budget results and variances to propose corrective actions.

Who We Are Looking For:
• You are currently pursuing a postgraduate degree (5 years) in Business, Logistics, or Transport.
• You possess a first experience in business or marketing activities.
• You are fluent in English.
• You have good command of computer and Office tools, especially Excel.
• You are organized and self-reliant, demonstrating strong entrepreneurship skills.
• Your interpersonal skills, a good sense of communication, and your team spirit are crucial for success in this mission.
