Job Description: The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – Spring 2025 Internship
This paid internship program offers college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates (within one year of graduation) a chance to learn the production process of a daily hour-long late-night variety show.
Responsibilities: Interns will assist across various departments, including:
• General Production: Supporting the overall production process.
• Script Department: Contributing to script-related tasks.
• Control Room Operations: Gaining experience in the control room.
• Music Department: Assisting with music-related duties.
• Research: Conducting research for the show.
• Talent Department: Supporting the talent team.
• Other Departments: Assisting in various other production areas as needed.
All interns will participate in production runs as required. The program provides hands-on experience in creating a daily comedy show in a fast-paced setting, working alongside experienced professionals.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Demonstrated passion and experience within the entertainment industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to work independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to contribute from the ground up.
• Current class standing: rising junior or above (with at least 30 credits completed), or within one year of graduation.
• Availability: Two full weekdays per week.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
Additional Information:
• Hiring Salary Range: $16.00/hour (This range applies to several states, including New York, California, Colorado, Washington, and others. Actual starting pay depends on factors like location, market demand, experience, training, and education).
