Job Description:

This position is open to an energetic and enthusiastic candidate looking for a challenging and rewarding career at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Manassas, VA. You will join a team developing, delivering, and operating fully integrated solutions for military users across the globe.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience with less than 1 year of professional engineering experience.
• Good working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft products including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of new skills within hardware, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

• High school coursework, lab, or extracurricular club experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
• Hardware Design
• Electrical Systems
• 3D Modeling (Creo, Solidworks, AutoCad, Zuken etc…)
• Rapid Prototyping (3D printing, etc…)
• Robotics
• Engineering Competitions/Projects
• Desire and drive to grow professionally within an engineering discipline at Lockheed Martin.

Important Information:

• This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
• This position is for a 4×10 hour day schedule with 3 days off per week.
