Description:
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer Associate to join their team in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Specific Duties:
• ATE Test Procedure Development: Design and create test procedures for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Test Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare for test execution, including coordinating resources and ensuring necessary equipment is available.
• Test Procedure Execution and Troubleshooting: Execute test procedures, troubleshoot software issues running in target hardware, and identify root causes for failures.
• System Integration and Validation: Support system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to achieve working solutions.
• Validation and Verification: Conduct validation and verification activities to ensure test procedures meet specifications.
• Test Software Enhancement: Implement test software fixes and enhancements to improve ATE functionality.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of testing and troubleshooting software in hardware environments.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, and C#.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot test equipment, including:
• Test cable assemblies
• Interface Test Adapters (ITA)
• Engineering sub-assemblies
• Engineering Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
• Test fixtures
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
Desired Skills:
• Working knowledge of developing test software using National Instruments LabVIEW, TestStand, and LabWindows CVI.
Other Important Information:
• This position requires a government security clearance and US Citizenship.
• The role is onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
• Lockheed Martin offers various work schedule options, including a 4×10 hour day schedule with 3 days off per week.
