About the Job: Temporary Lifestyle Assistant

Clearwater at South Bay, a premier luxury senior living community in Torrance, CA, is looking for a Temporary Lifestyle Assistant to join its dedicated team!

The primary purpose of the Lifestyle Assistant is to aid in the execution of programs and activities planned for residents. This role requires outstanding customer service skills and a genuine display of care and concern for our residents, all while demonstrating the principles and core values that Clearwater Living embraces.
Pay Range: $17.50-$19.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Friday-Tuesday (can be flexible on schedule)
Responsibilities
- Attend and assist in planned activities and special events, including set-up and tear-down and decorating for holidays or special events.
- Assist with surveying residents and making observations and recommendations to determine what activities are of interest.
- Encourage residents to attend and participate in activities.
- Assist in making flyers, calendars, newsletters, and updating social media websites as needed.
- Assist with Marketing events.
- Work with volunteers, including scheduling, training, and organizing day-to-day assignments.
- Assist with scheduling transportation or driving vehicles as needed.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately.
- Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operations.
- Display a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Represent the Clearwater Living principles and core values on a daily basis.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
Qualifications
- Ability, licensure, and willingness to drive the community vehicle.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- AA degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work experience in the industry.
- First Aid Certification preferred.
- Health or Fitness Certification preferred.
- Background clearances as required by government regulations.
- Must meet health requirements, including TB.
