The Tone:
This is a 40-hour Teller position, known internally as a Client Service Associate, at Nevada State Bank, specifically for the Service Staff team with the Harbor Island branch in Las Vegas, NV as its hub. • Team: Service Staff team, traveling to various branches within a specified region surrounding the Harbor Island hub branch.
• Mission: Accurately process client financial transactions, address service needs, and identify cross-sell opportunities to enhance client relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transactions: Accurately process debit and credit transactions while adhering to established policies and maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Client Services: Address clients’ needs by providing various services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, and performing account maintenance.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve client problems through direct personal action or by referring them to appropriate alternative branch or bank resources.
• Sales Opportunities: Identify and maximize cross-sell banking opportunities by proactively exploring clients’ financial needs.
• Administrative Support: Perform other assigned duties to support branch operations and client service as required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Hold a High School diploma or equivalent and possess basic foundational knowledge in mathematics, cashiering principles, balancing procedures, debit and credit transactions, and general bank products or banking operations.
• Experience: Demonstrate prior experience in cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related fields.
• Skills: Exhibit solid balancing and customer service skills, coupled with the ability to effectively identify client needs and cross-sell appropriate bank products.
• Bonus: Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record, as consistent travel to various branches within a specified region is an essential function of this Service Staff role.
