About The Position
The Teller position is a crucial role in our commitment to enhancing member value and fostering meaningful interactions and relationships. As a Teller, you will be the primary point of contact and the ‘face’ of the credit union, delivering exceptional member service and personalized financial solutions. Your key responsibilities will involve accurately and efficiently processing various financial transactions, actively promoting our comprehensive suite of products and services, and building strong rapport with members through genuine engagement and proactive support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create a welcoming and positive environment for members by warmly greeting them, actively listening to their needs, and providing assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately and efficiently conduct various financial transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, ensuring all member accounts are handled with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Balance cash drawers and maintain appropriate cash levels for daily operations.
- Educate members on Greater Nevada Credit Union’s diverse products and services, actively identifying opportunities to cross-sell relevant products and services to meet their individual financial needs.
- Adhere strictly to all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to safeguard member confidentiality and protect against fraud or unauthorized transactions, thereby maintaining the integrity and security of the credit union’s operations.
Qualifications
- 6 months of customer service experience.
- 6 months of cash handling experience (preferred).

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel. Occasionally, you may be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; anything above 40 pounds requires a team lift.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $35,500.00 – $49,000.00 (Compensation is dependent on experience).
