The Role: Technology PMO Intern

The Technology Project Management Office (PMO) is the central engine that drives the successful execution of the organization’s core digital and technology initiatives. We are responsible for coordination, governance, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. Our mission is to accelerate digital transformation through excellence in program and project management.

This internship offers a dynamic, hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of technology project management. As an intern, you will contribute to real-world projects that directly support our core digital initiatives, gaining meaningful exposure to our operations and the fundamentals of program and project management.

Key Responsibilities

As a PMO Intern, you will gain practical experience by supporting the team with critical, real-world responsibilities, including:

  • Project Coordination: Assist Program Managers in tracking deliverables, managing deadlines, and following up on action items across multiple concurrent technology projects.
  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain and organize PMO assets such as risk logs, decision registers, project charters, and knowledge-base documents using industry-standard tools like Jira, Confluence, and monday.com.
  • Reporting Support: Collect status updates from project leads, assist in preparing weekly reports and executive dashboards, and help develop materials for steering committee meetings.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Schedule and prepare for project meetings, accurately capture meeting notes, and distribute action items to ensure stakeholders remain aligned.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for increased efficiency within PMO workflows and lead a small initiative, such as implementing a new template or documentation standard.

Program Details

  • Duration: 8-week program from June 9 through August 11.
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.
  • Location: Hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Orlando office.
  • Compensation: $16.00 per hour.

Who You Are

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized individual with:

  • Demonstrated interest in technology, digital transformation, and/or project or program management through coursework, organizations, or prior experience.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take initiative.
  • Possess a systems-thinking approach to solving problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Familiarity with monday.com, Jira, or Confluence is a plus.
