Job Description: Technology Internship Program
Fidelity Investments is seeking talented individuals to join its Summer 2025 Technology Internship Program. This 10-week program, affectionately known as FIDTERN, provides a world-class opportunity for college students to learn about Fidelity’s business and culture. Interns will:
• Develop valuable skills: Gain technical, professional, and interpersonal skills crucial for their future careers.
• Contribute to impactful work: Perform relevant work with direct impact on Fidelity’s business and customers.
• Network and learn: Participate in a robust series of events including volunteer days, outings, and networking opportunities.
Internship Focus Areas:
• Full-Stack Engineer: Interns will collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions. They will work on active business projects utilizing technologies like Java, Python, D, C++, C#, etc. (OOP), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, APIs, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.
• Data Engineer: Interns will learn to source, store, cleanse data, and build analytical algorithms using raw data. They will develop scalable and distributed platforms to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data, utilizing technologies like Python, Java, SQL Databases (My SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), Tableau, Power Bi.
• Mobile Engineer: Interns will design, program, and develop front-end applications for Fidelity’s digital platforms using technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Ionic Native, Android Native, iOS (Swift).
• Systems Engineer: Interns will design, debug, test, and collaborate with the business on configuration management. They will gain exposure to infrastructure, architecture & administration, network protocols, and database technologies using Python, C++, C#, Java, Perl, Shell, PowerShell, Bash, R, Linux, Unix, network infrastructure and administration (servers, routers).
Required Skills:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Technology major.
• Creativity and passion for using technology to solve business problems.
• Client-focused and results-driven mindset.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
• Critical thinking skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Hands-on technical project experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Base salary range of $50,000 – $70,000 per year, based on factors like responsibilities, location, experience, etc.
