About Wells Fargo Technology Internship Program
Wells Fargo is seeking talent for its 2025 Technology Internship Program. This ten-week program provides participants with an orientation to Wells Fargo and its Technology groups. It features hands-on experience including relevant work assignments, real-world training, group projects, communication skills refinement, and exposure to key leaders. The program aims to provide undergraduate students with a blend of business and technical insights.
Key program features:
• Hands-on Experience: Participants will gain practical experience through real-world assignments and group projects.
• Training & Development: The program includes training sessions, coaching, and networking opportunities to enhance professional development.
• Exposure to Leaders: Interns will gain exposure to key leaders within Wells Fargo Technology.
• Focus on Business & Technical Insights: The program aims to provide a well-rounded experience that combines both business and technical knowledge.
Job Descriptions:
Software Engineer:
• Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and integrate applications.
• Enhance or resolve bugs in existing applications.
• Develop new applications to support the sunsetting of older applications.
• Work with ancillary technologies to support application integration and data integrity.
• Ensure the technical evolution of services in collaboration with enterprise architecture, product management, and partner teams.
• Work within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) setting.
• Typical Tech Stacks:
• Java, .Net Core/ASP.Net, UI Frameworks (ReactJS, Node.js, Angular JS, JQuery, Java Script), Spring Boot, GitHub, TDD/BDD, API, Microservices, Jenkins, Docker, Cloud Technologies (PCF, Azure, Google)
Data Engineer:
• Responsibilities:
• Create and support reusable frameworks, data warehouses, and analytics environments for data engineering.
• Leverage common design patterns across traditional and big data solutions.
• Contribute to data integration by developing data models, maintaining data warehouses and analytics environments, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis.
• Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines for deeper analysis and reporting.
• Resolve moderately complex issues to meet data engineering deliverables.
• Adhere to data information policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Typical Tech Stacks:
• Python, MongoDB, MySQL, SQL, AI/ML, Tableau/PowerBI

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Energetic self-starter: Proactively takes initiative and is genuinely interested in learning and growth.
• Collaborative: Able to learn from and collaborate with diverse team members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through training, military experience, or education.
• Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities like volunteerism, student organizations, study abroad programs, leadership positions, or non-profit involvement.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Technology STEM related majors.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and/or experience with: Java, Cloud technology, .NET, Python, SQL, or related technical skills.
