About Wells Fargo Technology Internship Program

Wells Fargo is seeking talented individuals to join its 2025 Technology Internship Program. This program offers a ten-week immersive experience designed to provide undergraduate students with a blend of business and technical insights.

Program Overview:

Orientation and training: Participants receive comprehensive orientation and training on Wells Fargo and its Technology groups.
Hands-on experience: The program provides real-world assignments, relevant work experience, group projects, and opportunities to refine communication skills.
Professional development: The program emphasizes professional growth through learning sessions, coaching, and networking opportunities with key leaders.

Job Description:

The program offers two primary roles:

1. Software Engineer:

Responsibilities:
• Application design, development, testing, readiness, and integration.
• Developing enhancements or resolving bugs in existing applications.
• Developing new applications to support the sunset of older applications.
• Working with ancillary technologies to support application integration and data integrity.
• Contributing to the technical evolution of services in collaboration with enterprise architecture, product management, and partner teams.
• Working within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) setting.

Typical Tech Stacks:
• Java, .Net Core/ASP.Net, UI Frameworks (ReactJS, Node.js, Angular JS, JQuery, Java Script), Spring Boot, GitHub, TDD/BDD, API, Microservices, Jenkins, Docker, Cloud Technologies (PCF, Azure, Google)

2. Data Engineer:

Responsibilities:
• Creating and supporting reusable frameworks, data warehouses, and analytics environments.
• Leveraging common design patterns across traditional and big data solutions.
• Contributing to data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis.
• Building and maintaining optimized and highly available data pipelines for deeper analysis and reporting.
• Resolving moderately complex issues to meet data engineering deliverables while adhering to data information policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Typical Tech Stacks:
• Python, MongoDB, MySQL, SQL, AI/ML, Tableau/PowerBI

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Energetic and proactive: A self-starter with a genuine interest in learning and growth.
Collaborative: Able to learn from and collaborate with diverse colleagues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of work experience or equivalent demonstrated through training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Involvement in extracurricular activities like volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad programs, leadership positions, or non-profit involvement.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Technology STEM related majors.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and/or experience with Java, Cloud technology, .NET, Python, SQL, or related technical skills.

Pay Range:

• Arizona (Chandler, Phoenix): $48.08 hourly
• Minnesota (Minneapolis, St. Louis Park): $48.08 hourly
• Missouri (St. Louis): $48.08 hourly
• North Carolina (Charlotte): $48.08 hourly
• New Jersey (Summit): $60.10 hourly
• Ohio (Columbus): $48.08 hourly
• Texas (Addison, Irving): $48.08 hourly
