What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Support financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, expense allocation, ad hoc business case development, and custom financial analyses.
• Modeling: Develop and maintain spreadsheets and statistical models essential for comprehensive financial analysis.
• Reporting: Prepare a variety of management presentations for various levels of leadership.
• Oversight: Provide analytical and reporting support for project and portfolio financial management by tracking budgets, monitoring spend, and producing reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and finance partners to maintain accurate financial data and investigate routine variances.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Experience: Typically three or more years of related experience, including working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures.
• Skills: Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills with thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning.
• Ability: Identify and resolve exceptions, analyze financial data, and utilize strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred.
