Description
The 2025 Internal Audit – Technology Audit Summer Analyst Program (New York) offers a comprehensive 10-week internship program that provides students with in-depth exposure to various functions across Internal Audit and coverage areas within Morgan Stanley. Successful participants may be considered for full-time employment after graduation.

Key Responsibilities
Summer Analysts are expected to:
• Develop a working knowledge of business and technology principles and basic auditing standards.
• Execute a wide range of assurance activities, including audits, continuous monitoring, and closure verification, with guidance from experienced professionals.
• Produce quality work in accordance with team priorities and assigned deliverables, including documenting narratives and process flows, executing control testing, and communicating results to management.
• Develop knowledge of tools and audit techniques relevant to the Technology Audit domain.
• Contribute to messaging regarding risk and business impact within the assigned coverage area.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the team to achieve shared goals.
Currently pursuings and Skills
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
• Graduation between December 2025 and June 2026, with less than one year of full-time professional experience.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information systems, or a technology-related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of information security and technology.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others and adapt to dynamic environments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Commitment to inclusive behaviors.
• Proactive in seeking guidance and soliciting feedback for self-development.

Compensation
The expected base pay rate for the role is 32.45 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired full-time will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short and long-term incentive packages.
