Technician Intern | MacAllister Rentals
The Tone:
This is a paid college internship at MacAllister Rentals. The company provides heavy equipment rentals, and this role offers an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a heavy equipment technician. Interns will join the successful Summer College Internship Program, which is entering its tenth year, focusing on problem-solving and process improvement. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual eager to contribute to the maintenance and repair of equipment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety: Ensure safe operation and repair practices for heavy equipment.
• Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance processes on diverse heavy equipment.
• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the service bay.
• Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to existing repair and maintenance processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year diesel technology college program.
• Experience: Availability to work full-time for 12 weeks, specifically from May 11th through August.
• Skills: Understanding of diesel technology principles, ability to perform preventative maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols for equipment.
