Job Description:
This position provides technical support of Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama.
Key Responsibilities:
• Automated Test Equipment Support: Supporting the development and operation of automated test equipment for missile production assembly, integration, and test operations.
• Test Plan Development & Maintenance: Creating and maintaining detailed test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on Manufacturing Support: Providing hands-on manufacturing floor support of electrical/electronic component integration, test, troubleshooting, and repair of military missiles.
Required Skills:
• Technical Expertise: Interpreting engineering requirements from product data drawings, parts lists, specifications, and schematics.
• Circuit Analysis: Demonstrating a high level of electronic circuit test and analysis abilities to perform or assist with missile production and testing.
• Troubleshooting: Having the ability to replace or repair non-operating electronic equipment components.
• Statistical Analysis: Using statistical data to develop trend analysis to detect potential failures, conduct detailed failure analysis to determine root cause, and implement corrective/preventative actions.

• Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance is possible for this position.
• Location: Troy, Alabama, located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama, known for its hot, humid summers and mild winters.
• Schedule: Must be able to work all schedules/shifts (first shift, night shift, and weekend schedule). Open to recent and May 2024 graduates.
• Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidates with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.
Desired Skills:
• Engineering Drawings & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.
• Electronic Circuits: Basic understanding of electronic circuits.
• Test Equipment: Experience using electronic test equipment (Digital Multimeter, Digital Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Frequency Counter, and/or Network Analyzer).
• Troubleshooting Skills: Strong hands-on assembly/disassembly/troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial, and/or home equipment and products.
• Programming: Previous experience with programming languages C, C++, C#, National Instrument’s Lab-View Lab-Windows CVI and Test-Stand software with hardware component integration is desirable.
• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
