About the Starbucks Summer Internship Program:
This paid, full-time, 12-week program (June – early September 2025) offers students a chance to gain valuable work experience in Technical Project Management within Starbucks Retail Engineering.

Job Description:
As a Technical Project Management Intern, you will:
• Assist with projects: Leverage core project management skills to navigate challenges and constraints while assisting with projects as a technical project manager.
• Track progress and readiness: Support and track the technical development progress and gate review readiness for projects within Engineering.
• Engage with suppliers: Develop relationships with equipment suppliers and link technical development phases into the overall project timeline.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that bring new products (equipment, process, packaging) to market.
• Contribute to efficiency: Support other non-project specific tasks that improve efficiencies within the Technical PMO.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking students with:
• Strong interest in project management: Passion for understanding and managing scope, time, costs, and risks.
• Engineering background: Major in Engineering, specifically Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, or Materials.
• Growth mindset & technical curiosity: Demonstrated strong growth mindset coupled with a desire to learn and understand technical aspects.
• Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Collaboration skills: Ability to build strong cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners.
• Adaptability & proactivity: Highly motivated by ambiguity, self-starter, and excels in a fast-paced environment.
• Action-oriented: Bias for action and getting things done.
Internship Program Qualifications:
• Active enrollment: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Full-time availability: Ability to work full time from June – early September 2025.
• Eligibility to work in the US: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
