About the Starbucks Summer Internship Program:

The Starbucks Internship Program is a paid, full-time, 12-week program (June – August 2025) designed to provide students with meaningful work experience in the field of Technical Project Management within Starbucks Retail Engineering. Roles will be based out of the Seattle Support Center in Seattle, WA. Job Description:

Technical Project Management Intern

As a Technical Project Management Intern, you will:

Assist in projects as a technical project manager: Leverage core project management skills while navigating challenges and constraints.
Support and track technical development progress: Ensure projects within Engineering are on track for gate review readiness.
Engage with equipment suppliers: Link technical development phases into an overall project timeline.
Partner with cross-functional teams: Complete deliverables to bring product (equipment, process, packaging) to market.
Support other non-project specific tasks: Improve efficiencies within the Technical PMO.

Qualifications:

Strong interest in project management: Including all elements of scope, time, costs, and risks.
Majoring in Engineering: Specifically Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, or Materials.
Demonstrates strong growth mindset: Coupled with technical curiosity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners.
Highly motivated by ambiguity: Self-starting and operates well in a fast-paced environment.
Bias for action and getting things done.
Active enrollment in an accredited college or university: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Recommended (but not required) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Ability to work full time from June – early September 2025.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
