Job Description: Technical Program Manager Intern
This is a full-time internship position that offers a hands-on learning experience for students interested in a career in technical program management. Interns will work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours a week, typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business teams to define and solve problems impacting customers.
• Define project requirements and clarify technical implementation through design discussions.
• Identify predictors and causes of business problems, implementing novel forecasting and prediction approaches.
• Conduct analyses to uncover opportunities, present written business recommendations, and build relationships with stakeholders across organizations.
• Define analytical approaches to uncover new insights and formulate process improvement recommendations.
• Influence technology at the component level, interfacing with engineering teams to deliver project requirements.

Qualifications:
• Basic Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected conferral date between October 2025 and December 2028.
• Previous program or project management experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of industry technologies (hardware, network, software, systems) and their application to problem-solving.
• Ability to dive into technical details and engage in constructive discussions with engineers.
• Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset, proactive issue resolution skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong documentation and direction-giving skills.
• Proficiency in data collection methods (log files, data stores, SQL, API).
• Understanding of technical analysis techniques.
Location and Start Date:
• This internship is available at multiple locations in the United States.
• You can provide your preferred location and start date during the application process, but availability is not guaranteed.
• Finalization on location and start dates will be provided upon job offer.
Compensation:
• The base pay for this position ranges from $41.25/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $88.94/hr in our highest geographic market.
• Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary based on individual skills and experience.
• Amazon offers a total compensation package including equity, sign-on payments, and various benefits (medical, financial, etc.).
