Job Description: Technical Management Trainee

This two-year program offers a unique opportunity for ambitious individuals to unlock their full potential and build a strong career at Cargill. As a Technical Management Trainee, you will:

Develop Your Skills:

• Gain hands-on experience by leading or participating in continuous improvement projects in an operational environment.
• Take ownership of a significant piece of the production process, including the people involved.
• Engage in safety and food safety practices within the operations.
• Participate in the Next Generation Graduate Program, a structured learning and development initiative.

Collaborate and Grow:

• Work in a dynamic and diverse international environment with other trainees across EMEA.
• Contribute to solving real business challenges while building valuable skills and a strong network.
• Participate in regular networking sessions with managers and peer groups.
• Benefit from individual and group coaching from current or former trainees.
• Attend highly engaging in-person summits to connect with senior leaders, participate in learning sessions, and engage in personal development workshops.

What We Look For:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical / Bio-chemical, Mechanical, Maintenance, Electrical, Process, Food Engineering, Production Management)
• Up to two years of professional experience (including internship experience)
• High integrity and ethical standards
• Fluency in English and Dutch
• Interest and flexibility to travel

• Natural leadership ability, motivation and initiative
• Interest in working in multi-cultural and multi-functional teams
• Curiosity to learn and create new ways of building and improving systems and processes
• Strong analytical skills and ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
• Confirmed experience in prioritizing work

Selection Process:

The selection process is designed to be a mutual discovery, starting with:

• An introductory self-recorded or live video interview with a recruiter.
• An online practical task.
• A face-to-face interview with the hiring manager.
• A plant tour.
