Job Description:

ACI Learning is seeking a Technical Instructor Manager to lead a team of remote and on-campus instructors, mentors, teaching assistants, and contracted faculty. This role is responsible for ensuring a consistently high standard of instruction, supporting professional development for faculty, and championing student success across all programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Develop Faculty:
• Support, coach, and guide instructors, mentors, and teaching assistants.
• Implement professional development plans and facilitate regular team touchpoints.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and instructional excellence.
Drive Student Success:
• Monitor and analyze academic performance data to improve outcomes.
• Partner with academic and program leaders to refine teaching strategies.
• Shape support models that set learners up for long-term success.
Build Better Processes:
• Contribute to the design of innovative instructional models and scalable systems.
• Use data and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Advocate for consistency and quality across every classroom experience.
Collaborate Across Teams:
• Be the bridge between faculty and cross-functional teams.
• Represent faculty voice in strategic planning.
• Collaborate on initiatives that elevate the student experience and drive workforce readiness.
Support Compliance and Quality Standards:
• Ensure instructional practices and faculty records meet regulatory, accreditation, and internal quality standards.
• Promote best practices in academic integrity, training delivery, and institutional policy adherence.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience managing instructional or faculty teams in a remote setting, ideally within technical or adult education.
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies, adult learning theory, and best practices in technical training.
• Hands-on experience with performance management, professional development, and using academic data to guide decision-making.
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments with frequent change and competing priorities.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), education technology tools, and requirements tied to accreditation and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
• Experience leading hybrid or fully remote teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Working knowledge of compliance standards in vocational or technical training environments.
• Analytical mindset and experience using performance data to drive action.

Compensation:

• The salary range for this position is $78,400 – $95,000 USD.
