Job Description
This internship is for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the Technical Engineering team during the summer. The intern will be responsible for three key projects:
• Audit Preparation:
• Collect, standardize, and organize relocation-related documentation (policies, authorizations, expense records).
• Create a filing structure and index to streamline future audits.
• Cross-Functional OPL Launch (Pineville):
• Define scope, stakeholders, and success metrics for a new Open-Point List (OPL) process-stabilization rollout in the Pineville facility.
• Coordinate and facilitate kickoff meetings, track action items, and deliver initial OPL training materials.
• Control Plan Conversion to SOCOS:
• Reformat 87 existing released control plans to meet SOCOS template requirements.
• Submit reformatted plans for approval via WorkON, track sign-off, and ensure final release in SOCOS.
The ideal candidate should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Management, and possess strong organizational and communication skills, be comfortable coordinating across teams, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
