Technical Development Program Internship at AbbVie Bioresearch Center (ABC)
This paid summer internship offers a chance to gain world-class experience at AbbVie Bioresearch Center (ABC) in Worcester, MA, working alongside energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders.
Internship Description:
As a Technical Development Program intern, you will:
• Participate in a ten-to-twelve-week summer program.
• Work on meaningful assignments that impact AbbVie’s business and patients globally.
• Gain experience in various Operations functional areas, including:
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Supply Chain
• Environmental Health & Safety
• Past projects have included:
• Product and process optimization in a manufacturing facility
• Quality systems data analysis to identify compliance trends
High-performing interns are considered for ABC’s Technical Development Program (TDP) after graduation.
TDP: A three-year rotational program with three separate work assignments in various Operations functional areas. The goal is to develop AbbVie’s future leaders, provide exposure across the business, and offer opportunities for skill and professional development.
Internship Location: AbbVie Bioresearch Center (ABC) in Worcester, MA
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related major.
• Enrolled in university the semester following your internship and graduate within 1-year post internship.
• Demonstrated leadership skills (e.g., extracurricular activities or projects).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
• Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity.
