Job Description: Teaching Assistant 1:1

Job Title: Teaching Assistant 1:1
Contract Term: Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2026
Salary: Grade 3 Point 6-9 £20,607 – £21,599 pro rata (£24,027 – £25,183 FTE)
Start Date: 01 September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time (32.5 hours)

Key Responsibilities (Refer to attached Job Description and Person Specification for full details):

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with complex SEMH needs.
• Assist the teacher in implementing personalized learning plans.
• Support the pupil’s social and emotional development.
• Help manage the pupil’s behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
• Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, other support staff, and external professionals.
• Provide feedback on the pupil’s progress.
• Attend training and professional development opportunities.
