We are currently seeking Tax Winter Interns to join our team in the Red Wing office for Winter 2027 (approximately January – April).
Work Model: This position is considered Hybrid. Team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

- Engagement Team: You will work closely with a diverse team made up of other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners, gaining exposure to various levels of experience and expertise.
- Industries Served: Our Red Wing office serves a variety of clients across industries, including but not limited to Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (client mix varies by office).

- Performance Coach: A dedicated Performance Coach will meet with you to establish goals, provide feedback, and offer support to guide you along your chosen career path. Many of our current Managers and Partners were once CohnReznick Interns themselves.

Your Role as a Tax Winter Intern:
As a Tax Winter Intern, you’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience with current tax laws and procedures while working on real client engagements. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, work across diverse industries, and accelerate your growth through dedicated mentorship.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Work on a variety of client deliverables, including the preparation of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Identify potential tax issues and prepare necessary tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client-provided trial balances.
- Assist the team with daily client workflow and support operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA Eligibility: On track to complete 150 credit hours between May 2027 and September 2028 for CPA eligibility.
- Academic Standing: Minimum 3.2 GPA in both your major and overall.
- Coursework: Must have successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
- Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills and demonstrate sharp critical thinking abilities.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change.
- Technical Proficiency: Must have advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and be eager to learn new technologies.
- Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
