Tax Winter 2026 Internship – Sunrise, FL

CohnReznick is seeking Tax Winter Interns to join their team in Sunrise, Florida, from January to April 2026. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office collaboration approximately 3 days a week.

Engagement Team: Interns will work closely with other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries: Clients span various industries, including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services.
Office: The CohnReznick office offers amenities, collaborative spaces, and private offices.

Your Role:

As a Tax Winter Intern, you will become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and perform tasks in accordance with firm standards.

Responsibilities Include:

• Working on all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients while assisting the team with daily client workflow.

Your Experience:

The ideal candidate will be a highly dedicated student with impressive credentials and a drive for new challenges.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2026- September 2027 in order to be CPA licensed.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in both major and overall.
• Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the internship start date.
• Leadership positions in student organizations or team projects.
• Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
