Job Description:

CohnReznick is seeking a Tax Winter 2026 Intern for their Tysons, VA office from January to April 2026. This is a hybrid position, requiring team members to be in the office on average 3 days a week. As a Tax Winter Intern, you will become familiar with current tax theories and laws and perform procedures in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparation of various client deliverables, including individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances.
• Assist the team with daily client workflow.

Engagement Team: Work closely with other interns, associates, senior associates, managers, senior managers, and partners.
Industries: Serve clients in Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services.
Office: Collaborative spaces and amenities in the CohnReznick office.
Performance Coach: Guidance and feedback to establish goals and support career development.
CR Friend: A familiar face and point of contact within the firm.

Your Experience:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2026 – September 2027 to be CPA licensed.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in major and overall.
• Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the internship.
• Leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, or team projects.
• Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status is required; CohnReznick does not offer sponsorship for entry-level roles.
