• Mission: To support organizational tax compliance and reporting across the company, ensuring regulatory adherence and financial accuracy.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Compliance: Complete general tax and compliance responsibilities for the organization.
• Business Licensing: Apply for and renew state and local business licenses across multiple locations.
• Property Tax: File business personal property tax returns.
• Sales & Use Tax: File and remit monthly sales and use tax.
• Agency Requests: Complete wage verifications and respond to agency requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, providing core domain knowledge in accounting and financial principles.
• Experience: At least 1 year of accounting experience is required, with strong preference for experience in business licenses, personal property tax, or multi-location compliance.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and effective written and verbal communication abilities. High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality are also essential.
