What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepares federal, state, local, and special tax returns by collecting, analyzing, and formatting financial information.
• Comply: Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local requirements by studying relevant regulations.
• Develop: Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, conducting tax research, and participating in professional networks.
• Contribute: Supports team efforts and accomplishes related results, including assisting with special projects as needed.
• Manage: Prioritizes and manages multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an active pursuit of Certified Public Accountant licensure.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of accounting experience, specifically working with individual and business (corporate/partnership) tax returns.
• Skills: Excellent project management, analytical thinking, interpersonal communication, self-motivation, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience working with clients in industries such as entertainment, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, and/or construction; knowledge of CCH Axcess Tax.
