The Tone:

• Pay: $109100–$143200 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Sr. Director Global Tax Reporting
• Mission: Own and lead the global tax technology strategy, driving transformation through automation, analytics, and AI to improve efficiency and decision-making for the global tax function.
• Tech Stack: Corptax, ONESOURCE, Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, SAP

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Strategy: Own and lead the global tax technology strategy, roadmap, and operating model, ensuring tax technology capabilities support all tax needs from compliance to business decision-making.
• Drive Transformation: Lead enterprise-level tax transformation and innovation using automation, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies, including hands-on use of AI tools and data platforms for reporting.
• Prioritize Initiatives: Set priorities, build business cases, define success measures, and allocate resources for tax technology initiatives to achieve measurable outcomes like efficiency gains and risk reduction.
• Foster Partnerships: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Tax, Finance, IT, and external vendors to manage dependencies, align priorities, resolve issues, and deliver sustainable technology solutions globally.
• Champion Adoption: Lead change management by enhancing technology capabilities across the Tax team through training, championing new methods, and driving the adoption of new technology solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field; this role includes direct people leadership responsibility as a Manager.
• Experience: 6+ years in corporate tax, tax technology, or tax process improvements within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm, including demonstrated experience with tax technology platforms such as Corptax or ONESOURCE, leading technology/automation initiatives, and developing team members.
• Skills: Strong understanding of multinational tax compliance and tax reporting processes; experience with analytics and productivity applications like Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Bonus: In-depth knowledge of tax issues affecting global multinational businesses, administrator-level knowledge of Corptax or ONESOURCE, and experience with ERP platforms such as SAP.
