The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (approximately 20–25 hours per week)
• Location: In-person Duluth, GA

• Team: Reports to Tax Manager
• Mission: This person will provide essential support in tax and accounting functions, contributing to client service and internal projects within the firm.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Excel, AI-powered tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of individual and business income tax returns, including direct interaction with client personnel.
• Accounting Entries: Make adjusting entries and complete trial balances in support of tax return preparation.
• Payroll Support: Support the preparation of payroll returns and related forms.
• Financials: Assist with general ledger work and financial statement preparation.
• Special Projects: Contribute to special projects, including tax projections, consulting engagements, and tech-forward initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with some coursework in accounting required.
• Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfortable learning new technology, including AI tools, and applying it with confidence.
• Skills: Communicates clearly with genuine motivation and curiosity; takes accountability for their work and thrives in a team environment.
• Bonus: Interest or curiosity in AI; genuinely interested in what’s happening in the business world, not just the classroom.
