What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Collaboration: Work within a team focused on a broad spectrum of tax specialty areas, including accounting for income taxes, accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entity taxation, private client services, and not for profit organizations.
• Tax Strategy: Complete comprehensive tax planning and research to support client needs and compliance efforts.
• Compliance Preparation: Prepare accurate federal and state & local tax returns for various client entities.
• Regulatory Comprehension: Develop a strong understanding of current tax regulations and accounting pronouncements relevant to client engagements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position for individuals working towards a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university, with an Accounting Major. Candidates must have completed 90 credit hours.
• Experience: Requires the ability to travel to assigned client locations; candidates must have access to and be able to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation for these locations.
• Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, the capacity to work effectively on a team, and the capability to work and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
