This role is important because the intern will directly assist professional staff in preparing financial documents and gathering essential data, contributing to the firm’s collaborative, client-focused approach and ensuring tailored solutions for client success. What You’ll Actually Do
• Work Paper Preparation: Provide assistance in preparing work papers, trial balances, depreciation schedules, and engagement correspondence.
• Data Entry: Enter data for computer applications.
• Information Gathering: Assist professional staff in gathering data for tax return preparation.
• Resource Maintenance: Maintain the tax library and client tax and auditing files.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled student in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Skills: Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently, ability to work as a team, willingness to work cooperatively, high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
