Tax Intern – International Tax Practice

KPMG is currently seeking a motivated Tax Intern to join their International Tax practice. This internship offers a chance to gain valuable experience in the field, working on projects that involve:

Responsibilities:

Supporting Global Trade Technology Solutions: You’ll play a key role in implementing these solutions, participating in design, build, training, testing, and deployment stages.
Documenting and Configuring Systems: You’ll create business blueprints and functional design specifications, perform system configuration, testing, and provide end-user training.
Introducing Innovative Changes: You’ll collaborate with clients to introduce innovative changes to their business practices, impacting people, processes, and technology.
Technical Deployment and Knowledge Transfer: You’ll work closely with client technology resources during the technical deployment of Global Trade applications, focusing on knowledge transfer to ensure client self-sufficiency.
Building Capabilities in Key Technologies: You’ll gain proficiency in technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, and Power BI, equipping you with the skills to deliver exceptional client service.

Currently pursuings:

Education: Enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business (Supply Chain, Logistics, or related), Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Academic Standing: Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
Skills: Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, excellent communication and time management abilities, leadership skills, and the ability to navigate MS Office applications.
Experience: Prior experience with SAP is preferred, but not required. Completion of SAP-related courses is a plus.
Adaptability: Must reside within a reasonable commute to the office and be able to travel to work locations using personal transportation.
Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes with short notice, for on-site client work.
Authorization: Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship.
