What You’ll Actually Do
• Consult: Consult on tax planning strategies to achieve business and individual tax objectives.
• Review: Review opportunities to optimize the timing of tax income and deductions through accounting method planning.
• Evaluate: Evaluate tax planning strategies resulting from legislation, regulations, and market developments.
• Research: Research technical positions and draft memos and other position papers for federal tax matters.
• Assist: Assist with federal tax consulting projects involving corporate, partnership, and individual taxation across all industries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. This is an Entry-Level internship.
• Experience: Intention to pursue CPA licensure.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and research skills. Intellectual curiosity and a desire to develop deep technical tax knowledge with an interest in federal taxation and tax consulting.
• Bonus: Prior coursework in federal income taxation, corporate taxation, partnership taxation, or advanced tax topics.
