Job Description
This internship program offers a firsthand look into the day-to-day responsibilities of a Tax Consultant. You’ll gain valuable experience by working with diverse teams to solve complex tax issues, utilizing cutting-edge technology and collaborating with colleagues. The internship will provide exposure to various clients across different industries, enabling you to understand the tax implications for various organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with research and analysis of tax issues.
• Utilizing your consultative skills to develop actionable solutions.
• Prioritizing tasks and managing multiple assignments in a team environment (in-person and virtually).
• Applying problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration, Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation degree.
• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0).
• Definitive plans for meeting minimum educational requirements for CPA eligibility (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
• Start date: Summer 2025
• At least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Preferred:
• Technology-related coursework.
• Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.2 or higher).
• Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs).
Compensation:
• The wage range for this role is $25 to $48.
