Deloitte Tax Consultant Internship

Position Summary:

Deloitte is seeking highly motivated and innovative individuals to join its tax consulting team as interns. This internship offers a dynamic environment and the chance to gain practical experience in tax consulting.

Responsibilities:

As a Deloitte Tax Intern, you will:

• Work alongside diverse and talented teams to help clients analyze the tax implications of complex decisions, optimize tax rates, and achieve performance objectives.
• Conduct research and analysis in collaboration with the tax team.
• Utilize consultative skills to translate findings into actionable solutions.
• Interact with various clients, gaining exposure to diverse organizations and understanding applicable tax implications for different clients.

• Manage multiple assignments efficiently in both in-person and virtual team environments.

About the Tax Consulting Team:

Deloitte’s tax consultants provide a comprehensive range of tax services to clients. They assist clients in leveraging tax data, processes, technology, and personnel to uncover valuable insights and develop strategic solutions to business challenges. The team fosters a collaborative environment, leveraging specialized knowledge and experience to help clients navigate complex tax and financial reporting issues.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration or Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation degree.
• Strong academic track record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Defined plans to meet minimum educational requirements for CPA eligibility in the state of your assigned office location.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on project demands and client locations.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
• Start date for this position will be in Summer 2026.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.

Preferred:

• Technology-related coursework.
• Strong academic track record with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Relevant work experience such as internships, summer positions, or school jobs.
