Job Description: Tax Consultant Intern
Deloitte Tax LLP is seeking highly-motivated, innovative thinkers with a technical background to join our tax consulting team. As a Tax Consultant Intern, you will gain first-hand knowledge of the day-to-day responsibilities of a tax consultant and have the opportunity to help develop solutions to complex tax issues.
Responsibilities
• Work with diverse and talented teams to help clients analyze the tax effect of complex decisions, reduce overall tax rates, and pursue performance objectives.
• Collaborate daily with the tax team to perform research and analysis, and utilize consultative skills to turn findings into actionable solutions.
• Interact with multiple clients, providing exposure to a variety of organizations and a stronger understanding of applicable tax implications for different industries.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities within in a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
