AbitOs, a partner firm established in 1998, serves as a trusted advisor on complex tax and advisory matters for individuals and businesses. This role is essential for supporting the preparation of critical tax filings, expanding technical tax knowledge, and building strong client relationships within a growing CPA firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare federal, state, and international tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Assist with the preparation of specific tax forms including 1040, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, and FBAR.
• Review client financial information, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers.
• Conduct tax research and provide support for compliance and client-related projects.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve questions, ensuring timely engagement completion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; understanding of accounting principles including accrual and cash-basis accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience: Previous public accounting or tax experience, including exposure to preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and/or international tax returns.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree; familiarity with UltraTax CS, CCH ProSystem, QuickBooks, and Practice CS; exposure to international tax reporting including Forms 5471, 5472, and FBAR.
