What You’ll Do: Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities

As a Talent Operations Intern at Xometry, you’ll gain hands-on experience in various critical aspects of HR operations, including employee records, benefits administration, and payroll. You will work closely with experienced HR professionals to gain valuable insights and contribute to the smooth functioning of our Talent Operations department.

  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information and employment history, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Benefits Administration: Gain practical experience with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Assist with the onboarding of new hires, covering paperwork, orientation, and IT setup. You will also manage aspects of the offboarding process, including final paperwork processing.
  • General HR Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Talent Operations team, such as responding to employee inquiries, data entry, and assisting with various HR projects, as needed.
  • Case Study Project: Collaborate with fellow interns to analyze a real-world business challenge and present innovative solutions to senior leadership, fostering your problem-solving and presentation skills.

What We’re Looking For: Qualifications

  • Academic Excellence: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 – August 14, 2026).
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results within a dynamic environment.
  • Legal Authorization: Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.
  • Location Requirement: Ability to commute to our North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week.

Compensation & Program Details

  • Pay Rate: The estimated base pay rate for this temporary role is $20.00 per hour, dependent on job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
  • Position Type: This is a temporary position for the duration of the summer internship program.
