Talent Management Intern | Avalon Entertainment
The Tone:
This is an internship role at Avalon Entertainment, a globally recognized, multi-award-winning talent management, television production, and live promotion group operating from London, Los Angeles, and New York. The company, alongside Artists Rights Group and The Agency, builds and sustains the careers of a diverse and distinctive roster of artists, including numerous Academy Award, BAFTA, Emmy, Tony, and Olivier Award-winners in acting, comedy, writing, and directing. This 3-month internship is designed to provide invaluable, hands-on experience within Avalon’s Management team, offering a unique opportunity to gain real insight into the fast-paced world of talent representation and the foundational processes behind managing and developing talent careers. The role is critical in supporting both the essential day-to-day operations and the strategic long-term development of the artists Avalon represents.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Materials Management: You will be responsible for updating client reels, biographies, and other essential marketing materials on the Avalon website and other platforms. This ensures that the talent’s professional profiles are current, accurate, and effectively showcase their work and achievements to industry professionals.
• Administrative Coordination: You will provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support across the Talent Management team. This includes sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, assisting with the scheduling of meetings and appointments, and conducting research crucial for client projects and departmental initiatives.
• Talent & Content Evaluation: You will contribute to the identification of future talent by attending shows to scout and identify emerging artists in comedy, television, and film. Additionally, you will perform script coverage, offering valuable notes and feedback to assess potential scripts for talent and executives.
• Logistical Support: You will arrange client travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation, and meticulously create detailed itineraries to ensure seamless and efficient logistics for artists’ professional engagements and appearances.
• Team Workflow Support: You will assist the management team by updating critical information and tracking grids, contributing to the efficient organization and monitoring of client projects and departmental progress. This experience will also provide you with an understanding of how the management team collaborates with other core areas of the business.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently a student or recent graduate with a keen and demonstrated interest in the entertainment industry, specifically across comedy, television, and film.
• Experience: A strong desire to build a career in talent management, eager to learn and contribute practical experience in how artist careers are built and sustained.
• Skills: Confident and enthusiastic, demonstrating a proactive self-starter approach. You will possess a strong attention to detail and a methodical mindset crucial for managing administrative tasks and tracking critical information.
