The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month rotational program for recent graduates across the U.S. Cemex USA is a leader in the building materials industry, known for over a century of expertise in delivering quality products and services. This program is designed to kick-start careers by providing driven individuals with hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the company’s Ready-Mix operations. The role matters because it invests in the development of future leaders who will contribute to Cemex USA’s commitment to building a better future.

The TL;DR

• Mission: To provide recent graduates with hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of Ready-Mix operations, developing the skills needed to thrive in their career at Cemex USA.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety Excellence: Ensure that Cemex safety standards are met or exceeded across all Ready-Mix operations.
• Rotational Learning: Participate in a structured program covering various aspects of Ready-Mix operations, including Safety, Plant Management & Maintenance, and Quality Control.
• Skill Development: Enhance technical skills, transferable soft skills, and leadership abilities through hands-on work, training, and mentorship.
• Networking: Build a professional network by connecting with peers, mentors, and leaders across different business units within Cemex.
• Innovation and Improvement: Contribute fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to improve the ongoing success of Ready-Mix operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A recent bachelor’s degree in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Construction Science Management/Construction Management, Business Administration/Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in the industry gained through internships, co-op programs, or university projects is expected.
• Skills: Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, along with leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
