Asst. Manager, Talent Acquisition | Mashreq
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mashreq, located in Egypt. Mashreq is a financial institution focused on banking, and this role supports its business operations. This position is critical to ensuring the bank’s growth targets are met by securing the right talent in a cost-effective manner. The Asst. Manager, Talent Acquisition will be the primary point of contact for all recruitment activities within Egypt, directly contributing to the bank’s strategic expansion.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership: Act as the central point of contact for all recruitment activities across Egypt.
• Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with Line Managers to define talent acquisition requirements and develop detailed candidate specifications for open positions.
• Candidate Management: Attract, interview, shortlist, and recommend candidates, managing the internal referral process and maintaining a robust candidate pipeline.
• Process Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and documentation standards.
• Reporting & Administration: Generate accurate talent acquisition reports for the People & Intellectual Capital Group and manage general recruitment administration tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-level professional with core domain knowledge in Talent Acquisition, specifically a good understanding of banking business requirements.
• Experience: 4-5 years of dedicated Talent Acquisition experience in a similar position, including proven skills in candidate evaluation for job and profile fit.
• Skills: Through knowledge of immigration and labor law, explicit attention to detail, and fluency in both written and spoken English language.
