Job Description: Talent Acquisition Intern (HRBP-Data TA Team)

This detailed job description outlines an exciting Talent Acquisition Intern opportunity within ByteDance’s HRBP-Data TA team.

Team Introduction:
The HRBP-Data TA team at ByteDance is primarily responsible for the hiring delivery of Data professionals. This encompasses critical roles that drive AI and machine learning innovation, particularly those specializing in large-scale models for e-commerce, content discovery, and user experiences. Working closely with business teams, this talent acquisition team contributes directly to advancing recommendation systems, search capabilities, computer vision, and other intelligent, scalable solutions across ByteDance’s extensive ecosystem.

The Internship Opportunity:
This is an opportunity for enthusiastic students to join a growing team within a high-growth startup environment. Interns will gain exposure to various aspects of the business and have the chance to collaborate with top talent. ByteDance internships, specifically for 2026, aim to provide students with industry exposure, hands-on experience, and foundational skill development, while also allowing them to explore potential career paths. Internship Duration:
The internship runs for 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Intern will be involved in various facets of the hiring process, including:
Participating in all phases of the Talent Acquisition process, from gathering position requirements with hiring managers and TA Partners to promoting open positions via job portals, conducting screening and recruitment, assessment, managing candidate relationships, and supporting the onboarding process.
Professionally partnering with TA Partners, hiring managers, and team leaders to understand hiring needs. This involves sourcing, targeting, and building pipelines of candidate databases.
Supporting hiring-related project(s), and/or optimizing current processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Achieving a holistic business understanding through collaboration with cross-functional and regional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Open to students currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Ability to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
• A self-starter with an appetite for continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using recruiting tools, such as LinkedIn.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $25 – $40.
Benefits: Interns receive day-one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more. They also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 hours if hired in the second half).
Housing Allowance: Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for a housing allowance.
