Talent Acquisition Assistant
Location: New Haven, CT (Hybrid | 2–3 days onsite)
Compensation: Up to $60,000 +

Primary Responsibilities
In this essential role, you will deliver vital coordination and administrative support throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate high-volume interview scheduling for lateral associate, partner, and business services candidates, including meticulous calendar management, conference room bookings, and comprehensive meeting preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the firm’s applicant tracking system (ATS) and various document management databases.
- Manage recruiting agency and vendor agreements, meticulously tracking placement activity and associated fees.
- Process recruitment-related invoices, placement fees, and expense reports efficiently through the firm’s accounting systems.
- Assist with the tracking and ongoing maintenance of the recruitment budget.
- Coordinate background checks for new hires through third-party vendors, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Post open positions to the firm’s official website, LinkedIn, and other relevant job boards to attract top talent.
- Handle day-to-day administrative support tasks for the entire Talent Acquisition team, ensuring smooth operations.
- Support the planning and execution of recruitment events, dinners, and various outreach initiatives.
- Assist with the Summer Program and entry-level recruitment efforts, including event coordination, scheduling training sessions, assignment tracking, compilation of feedback, and budget tracking.
- Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.
- Proficiency with common business tools and systems (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, document management systems, and applicant tracking systems), coupled with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions.
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and ownership, while also contributing effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and robust problem-solving ability.
- A customer service-oriented mindset, demonstrating a professional, proactive, and responsive approach to all inquiries and tasks.
