Job Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Systems Security Engineer for a position in Dallas, Texas. This is not your typical Cyber Engineer position. It requires experience in Embedded Products, such as missiles, fire control systems, radar, F-35, etc.
The role involves providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of the System Security Engineering (SSE) process for developing Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems. You will assess and mitigate System Security threats/risks, validate System Security Engineering requirements, implement System Security Engineering solutions, and verify implementation of system security requirements.
You’ll also be responsible for:
• Designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining state-of-the-art System Security architectures and countermeasures.
• Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and threats against the System Security posture of product designs.
• Prototyping and testing System Security countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks.
• Embedding yourself among Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to integrate System Security Engineering into a wide range of high-integrity, security, and safety-critical Embedded Systems.
