About the Systems Integration Engineering Intern Job
Analog Devices is looking for a curious and motivated Systems Integration Engineering Intern to contribute to the development of next-generation wearable platforms and technologies, with a specific focus on innovative healthcare solutions. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in various engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Hardware Testing: Perform benchtop characterization tests on wearable devices.
• PCB Design Support: Assist in the design and testing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
• New Product Exploration: Support the exploration and de-risking of new product features.
• System-Level Integration: Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand system-level integration and how hardware components fit into broader solutions.
• Embedded Design Debugging: Help debug embedded designs, including communication buses and sensor interfaces.
• Documentation & Presentation: Contribute to technical documentation and presentations.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Required Skills:
• Test Equipment Proficiency: Experience using basic electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Embedded Systems Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental embedded systems concepts, including microcontrollers and various communication protocols.
• Analog Circuit Design: Familiarity with analog circuit design principles, specifically related to amplifiers and filters.
• Mixed-Signal & Power Design Exposure: Exposure to mixed-signal design (e.g., Analog-to-Digital Converters – ADCs) and power circuit design (e.g., switching converters).
• PCB Design Basics: Basic skills in PCB design, encompassing schematic capture and layout.
• Electronics Lab Skills: Practical electronics lab skills, such as soldering.
• Programming Experience: Basic programming experience, for instance, in C or Python.
