About the Role
Networks is seeking a full-time, paid summer Systems Engineering intern to support Korean and/or Japanese customers who have a North American presence. As a member of the team, the intern will interact with various cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Sales, Operations, Support, and Services to help drive our go-to-market strategy and support these customers.

What You’ll Do
• Develop relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with varied deliverables and due dates.
• Listen to and document customer feedback and relay it to internal departments for improvement opportunities.
• Present their work directly to managers and senior leaders.
• Hands-on experience or demonstrated interest in AI-assisted workflows, preferably using Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude, applied to technical analysis, lab testing, and real-world problem solving.
• Build a strong technical understanding of Extreme’s wired and wireless networking solutions.

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Currently reside in North America, pursuing a degree in Engineering (Networking, Systems, Software, or Data), or a related field such as IT, Computer Science, or Applied Analytics.
• Are bilingual in English and Japanese, or English and Korean.
• Have at least 18 months remaining before graduation.
• Should have a general understanding of Networking Technology.
• Are a self-starter, proactive and eager to learn.
• Are skilled at using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within both virtual and in-person teams.
• Have the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Preferred Locations: Boston, North Carolina or Toronto.
• Full-time, paid summer internships (40 hours/week).
• A majority of the work will be from the intern’s remote/home office, with occasional meetings in an Extreme office location or customer site (if within a reasonable distance from the intern’s home).
• Occasional virtual meetings during UTC +8 and UTC +9 time zones.
• Pay Range is based on qualifications: 20-25 per hour.
• This internship does not come with benefits.
