Key Responsibilities:

• Create, improve, or invent tools and/or applications as part of larger systems.
• Build and operate supportable products or services, making significant technical contributions.
• Write secure, stable, testable, maintainable code with minimal defects.
• Demonstrate understanding of various technologies (hardware, software, networking, operating systems) and their interactions.
• Build systems and processes that improve safety, agility, and automation for other builders.
• Learn the business context and technologies behind your team’s system implementations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for a 12-week internship.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between October 2025 – December 2028.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with open-source technologies like Linux, Spring, or React.
• Experience with distributed computing, programs, and systems.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes.
• Familiarity with TCP/ICP networking fundamentals and application of IP protocols (DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SNMP).
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills developing on Unix-like operating systems.
• Documentation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
