Vice President – Private Side Loan Distribution | Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

• Team: Capital Markets Group (CMG)
• Mission: Lead the distribution of private credit and syndicated loan transactions, expanding MUFG’s investor relationships and market presence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Investor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with active loan market investors, specifically institutional investors across Asia.
• Lead Loan Distribution: Lead the distribution of private credit and syndicated loan transactions, coordinating bookrunning activities from mandate phase to financial close.
• Provide Market Insights: Provide market colour and investor feedback to support client discussions and optimize transaction structures.
• Collaborate for Outcomes: Collaborate with regional and global MUFG distribution teams, relationship managers, and product teams to maximize distribution outcomes and obtain market insights.
• Drive Strategic Initiatives: Drive various CMG strategic distribution initiatives, including evaluating investor appetite for bespoke deal opportunities and building new distribution pathways.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate or Masters Degree from leading universities; Senior professional with expertise in private credit, syndications, or private side sales.
• Experience: 8+ years experience in a private credit, syndications, or private side sales role at a reputable financial institution or asset management firm; Experience managing multiple transaction workstreams.
• Skills: Solid structured credit products knowledge; Strong understanding of private debt markets and investor dynamics; Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities; Language proficiency: English and at least one Asian language.
• Bonus: Flexibility for bank investor coverage.
