The Swine Marketing Intern position at Sandhills Global is focused on learning about all facets of Sandhills’ offerings and driving new market development within the swine industry for the LivestockMarket.com website.

Key Responsibilities:
• Market Development & Sales: Contacting sellers in the swine and broader livestock industries to educate them about Sandhills’ products and services. This includes explaining how to use the websites for listings and, when necessary, entering listings on their behalf.
• Customer Service: Managing both inbound and outbound customer calls and email communications, ensuring strong customer relationships are built and maintained.
• Industry Research & Feedback: Gathering information on industry shows and meetings, researching best practices for listing information on the website, and providing valuable feedback from the industry to improve services.
• Administrative & Team Support: Handling a variety of tasks that assist in the implementation of website and publication strategies, working collaboratively within a team environment to ensure overall success, and assuming other duties as assigned. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service and sales.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Prior experience or knowledge in the swine industry is essential.
• Must be able to commute to the local office when scheduled.
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.

Compensation:
• The internship is paid at $18 per hour.
